Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Jolicoeur is proud to have been employee number one at ICX Media. As CTO, he leads a world-class technology team to pioneer next-generation video data science and artificial intelligence.
At ICX Media, Daniel has been involved in making critical decisions since the team’s inception. Daniel is a creator at heart and believes that engineering is just another kind of creative process. He is enthusiastic about building a platform that helps people tell their story and helps people find an audience for their voice.
Prior to ICX Media, Daniel was a labs team member at Millennial Media, a leading mobile advertising platform company, and Technical Lead at Vital Labs, a healthcare platform for patients and clinical care professionals. Working in R&D and on small, early-stage startup teams pushed him outside of his comfort zone and made him an adaptable leader who can learn and grow quickly alongside his team.
After stumbling into some programming work at a former job, Daniel realized that it was his passion and returned to UMBC to start from scratch on a Computer Science Degree. His dedication to and enthusiasm for the work is apparent… he even once famously debugged a critical production issue with a glass of champagne in hand during an IPO party.
When he’s not putting out technical fires, Daniel enjoys running, sailing, playing guitar and hanging out with his wife and two border collies.
