Today is a major announcement in the life of any startup: the announcement of our first acquisition. We are very excited to welcome the SEEN Digital Media team to join ICX Media.

From first blush, the SEEN and ICX Media teams felt remarkably complementary to one another. Since 2010, SEEN’s social intelligence system has identified top creators and applied the human touch to verify and catalog across platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter, to make creators searchable and discoverable for brands.

They have spent the last several years at the forefront of influencer marketing, working with top brands like Reebok and Hershey and developing long-term relationships with renowned marketing agencies and fantastic influencer talent.

ICX Media will provide unprecedented data capabilities to the SEEN client base allowing them to hone their creative and strategic approaches while providing deeper insight than ever before to the effectiveness of their influencer campaigns.

And as we begin to provide next-generation data science to SEEN’s client base, SEEN’s leadership team will provide strategic insight from their years of experience navigating the wild west of influencer marketing to enhance both our client and creator services.

We recently announced the opening of our LA office. With this acquisition, we will be further expanding our national footprint to include the SEEN team’s home turf: Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus is a young and fast-growing city, making lots of lists for its affordability, young well-educated workforce, ease of access to the rest of the country, and a great food scene.

We look forward to the opportunities our Columbus presence will present, including the growth of our future sales, marketing, and client services teams.

Combining ICX Media’s data-inspired storytelling platform with SEEN’s unique hyperlocal social intelligence platform will provide our customers with access to a deeper level of data, insights and performance metrics, giving them even more confidence in their campaign decisions.

We are looking forward to growing our business with SEEN and are ready to power the next evolution of the overall digital media industry.
